In 2014 I discovered the beautiful life changing tools of essential oils and vowed to share them with the world. Anyone who knows me, knows that essential oils are my answer to almost anything!

 

So what are they, I hear you say? Well, chemically speaking they are volatile, aromatic compounds that are extracted through molecular distillation or cold pressing from the barks, stem, flower, rind or leaf of a plant. Interestingly it's the oils contained within the plant that protect it from predators, keep it healthy and strong and repair it when it gets damaged from the elements. They act as a sort of immune system for the plant. Human chemistry is similar to that of plant chemistry so our cells recognize and respond to these plant extracts really well, and -because of this these wonderful tiny molecules of oil are able to have a profound effect on our bodies and help keep us healthy and strong too.

These oils have become my go to for anything from toxic free home cleaning to an upset tummy, cramps, bug bites, coughs and colds, headaches and so much more. I've seen these potent little drops work time and time again, and I'm still in awe each time they help me
